MACE MAIN CAP STUD GIRDLE TO SUIT BUICK, ECOTEC & L67 SUPERCHARGED V6

(To suit Buick, Ecotec & L67 Supercharged V6)

These V6 Girdles are fabricated from 16mm Aluminum. Girdles increase the torsional rigidity of the cylinder block and evenly distributes load and dampens harmonics by bolting the main cap studs together.

The increased rigidity and strength of these girdles on the bottom end allows extra stress to be placed on these motors. Highly modified vehicles using Nitrous Oxide, Turbochargers or Superchargers can aid from these girdles as the increased stress on the cylinder block is reduced.

Please note: If these items are in stock they will dispatch within 3-5 days. If stock is depleted in house manufacturing time will take 1-2 weeks.

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Jaguar has taken the new F-Type V8 S to Jabbeke for sprint testing then on to Geneva in convoy with XK 120, C-type, D-type and E-type sports cars. So Jaguar took the F-Type off to Jabbeke, Belgium – where Jaguar’s test driver Norman Dewis managed a world record flying mile speed of 172.4mph in an XK 120 60 years ago – and put Le Mans driver Andy Wallace in the driver’s seat to see how quickly the F-Type V8 S would go. Andy had just a two mile stretch of closed road to play with the F-Type and yet managed a 0-179-0 with a clocked time of 4.2 seconds to 62mph on the way.

Thu, 23 Sep 2010

We know that Mini has changed plenty since takeover by the Germans, but who’d have thought we’d ever see a two-wheeled Mini? That’s what BMW is unveiling today: the new Mini Scooter E Concept. As its name suggests, this takes the learnings from the Mini E electric car and applies them to a scooter for use around town.
